Lantau Trail (Fung Wong Trail)

The trail is a long-distance hiking trail, opened on 4th December 1984. The trail revolves around the southern part of Lantau passing Mui Wo, Pui O, Tong Fuk and Ngong Ping, and both Lantau Peak (Fung Wong Shan) and Sunrise Peak (Tai Tung Shan). The trail is 70 kilometres long and divided into 12 sections starting from Mui Wo. The trail connects several of the sightseeing spots on Lantau including Nam Shan plantation area, Lantau Peak, Po Lin Monastery, Lung Tsai Ng Yuen,Tai O, and Fan Lau. Hikers may choose the suitable sections for hiking or camping.
